TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Dos Aguas is a regenerative travel project. Our mission goes beyond minimizing environmental impact—we aim to improve both the environment and the local community. By staying with us, you join our mission of purposeful and responsible travel.
The following conditions will help us create a more pleasant and respectful space for all guests, the members of the community and the environment.
House Rules: To ensure a peaceful and enjoyable stay for all, we ask that you follow these guidelines:
- Treat everyone with respect and fairness, whether they’re fellow guests, staff, or members of the local community.
- Use resources consciously, especially water, which is limited in this region.
- Minimize waste and avoid single-use plastics. Properly dispose of waste in the recycling station.
- Loudspeakers are not allowed in any area of the hotel, including the beach. Please use headphones for listening to music, watching movies, or making calls.
- Respect the peace and quiet of others—our lodge is an open space, and sound travels easily.
- No outside drinks are allowed; we have a bar serving refreshing cocktails and beverages.
- Please do not bring food into the rooms.
- Smoking is not permitted in or around the property. Ask in reception for the designated smoking area and how to properly dispose of your cigarette filters. Smoking in the rooms has a penalty of $300 USD.
- It is prohibited to enter or consume drugs in or around the property. The use and possession of psychoactive drugs is illegal in Colombia.
- Do not light candles, matches, or flame-making objects in or around the grounds of the hotel.
The hotel reserves the right to evict or dislodge a guest that breaches the terms and conditions of the hotel. In such cases, the guest does not have any right for compensation or refund of any kind.
The hotel reserves the right to enter a room if there is reason to believe that a guest is failing to comply with any of the hotel’s conditions.
CHECK IN/ CHECK OUT
The established hours for check-in is from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The hours for check-out are from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. If you plan on leaving before 8.00 am, please do your check-out the previous night before 9:00 pm.
Checking-out after 11.00 am will be considered late check-out and will be subject to a penalty of $50 USD per hour. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability, and the price will vary according to the daily rate. For more information on rates and availability please ask in reception.
There will be no credit or reimbursements for departures before the reserved check-out date.
Special requests, such as a change of rooms, are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
SILENCE HOURS
We ask our guests to respect silence hours between 11.00 pm and 7.00 am by keeping a discrete volume inside the rooms, corridors, and common areas, so as not to disturb the rest of the other guests. We remind guests that loud speakers are not permitted in the hotel and ask guests to use headphones for making phone calls, watching or listening to music/videos/social media.
The hotel cannot be held liable for music or noise generated by neighboring properties. This type of situation does not give the guest right to any kind of compensation.
HOUSEKEEPING
Sheets and towels will not be changed during your stay in order to reduce water and energy consumption. If you require your sheets or towels to be changed at any moment during your stay, please ask in reception.
The daily housekeeping service is obligatory and for your safety. The cleaning service may not be refused for more than one day in a row.
FOOD
As part of our mission of sustainability our restaurant offers only vegetarian meals. We encourage you to try the local gastronomy (fish and seafood) in the locally-owned restaurants in town. We do not offer a full meal plan.
Our kitchen service is open for breakfast from 7:30 am to 10:00 am and for lunch and dinner from 11:00 am to 9:00pm. Your rate plan includes breakfast, tea, and filtered water.
The kitchen is reserved for restaurant and staff use only and is not available to use by guests.
If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies you must notify us at Reception and verify every food or beverage order with your waiter. Our kitchen makes frequent use of sesame, cashew nuts, cheese and eggs, and the risk of cross-contamination with these ingredients is relatively high.
LOST ITEMS/ DAMAGES
Each guest is responsible for properly storing documents, jewelry, cash and/or other valuables in the safety box in the room. If there is a problem with your safety box please advise the reception immediately.
The hotel cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged articles, and items left outside the safety box are the sole responsibility of the guest.
Guests will be assigned a room key in reception. During check-out, said key must be returned to reception. If a guest loses a key the hotel will charge a replacement fee of $20 USD.
Any damage caused by the guest to the room or hotel property in general will be charged to the guest’s bill.
WIFI
The Wi-Fi service is free of charge and unlimited to hotel guests. The hotel cannot guarantee the functioning or speed of the wi-fi and cannot be held liable in case of failures. The wi-fi password will be given to the guest in reception and must not be shared with non-guests.
TRANSPORT AND PARKING
The hotel does not have a parking area and does not provide transportation services.
The recommended transportation services are operated by a third party separate from the hotel Dos Aguas. Therefore, any responsibility due to delays, cancellations, damages, or other events that may occur before, during or after the transportation service, must be put forward with the third-party operator with whom the service was contracted.
Any recommendations that the hotel makes for parking areas or transport services must be taken as such, and are in no way a liability or responsibility of the hotel.
CHILDREN AND UNDERAGE PERSONS
The hotel has set a minimum age of 5 years old for lodging. Underage persons may not lodge in a room unaccompanied by an adult.
If traveling with children or underage persons you must present proper ID demonstrating the legal guardianship of the child. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for guaranteeing that the children are not disturbing the other guests.
Lodging children does not result in lower costs for the hotel, and children must be counted in the maximum capacity and rate for each room.
Parents or legal guardians must cover the cost of any damages caused by the minors.
ACTIVITIES
All of the touristic activities offered, or which may be enjoyed in or outside the hotel grounds during the stay, are operated by a third party and separate from the hotel Dos Aguas. Therefore, any responsibility due to delays, cancellations, damages, or other events that may occur before, during or after an activity, must be put forward with the third-party operator with whom the service was contracted.
The images shown regarding touristic activities are for reference only.
The beach does not count with a lifeguard and guests swim under their own risk and responsibility.
The hotel has made available the use of stand-up paddles and kayaks as a free benefit to the guests, who use the equipment under their own risk and responsibility, understanding that the beach does not have a lifeguard and the hotel has no rescue equipment.
Damaging or breaking the hotel’s equipment will be charged to the guests bill.
LAUNDRY
To reduce the usage of water, cleaning products and environmental impact, the hotel does not count with a laundry service. The hotel may recommend the service by a third party but is not liable for damages or losses caused by the laundry service.
GROUPS
The hotel has established a maximum of eight (8) people or three (3) rooms per group or families traveling together, even if the bookings are made separately. The hotel reserves the right to cancel bookings for groups larger than the maximums listed before. The hotel has the right to evict groups that are non-compliant without the right to compensation or reimbursement.
PETS
The hotel does not allow guests to bring their pets.
We advise our guests that we have 2 cats and 2 dogs who move freely throughout the hotel.
OTHER
If you have any suggestions about the services provided by the hotel or if your room or any service of the hotel presents a technical issue, please let us know in Reception as soon as possible so that we may attempt to solve it. Complaints or claims brought forward after the moment of check-out will not have a right to discounts or compensation.
Guests may be evicted from the hotel for insecure, illegal, aggressive or threatening behaviors in order to guarantee the safety and rights of other guests, employees or members of the community, in any moment in which the hotel considers it necessary.
We take for granted that guests have read and accepted the contract of stay and terms and conditions of Hotel Dos Aguas from the moment of check-in.

Leído lo anterior, declaro de manera previa e inequívoca que autorizo HAMACA Y MOKA ECOTURISMO SAS, para que pueda realizar tratamiento de los datos personales aquí diligenciados dentro de las finalidades legales, contractuales, comerciales y las aquí contempladas de acuerdo con su Política de tratamiento de datos personales. De igual forma declaro ser el titular de la información suministrada en este formulario siendo la misma completa, confiable, veraz y exacta.
