Our Team
Carmen Pacheco- Director
Rinconera by choice, with more than 25 years of experience in community work and 15 years dedicated to the social development of this territory, Carmen has made Rincón del Mar her home. Her personal project of sustainable housing reflects her philosophy: living in harmony with the environment, caring for it, and creating opportunities for its people.
She is the heart of the Foundation and an tireless weaver of processes, partnerships, and collective dreams.
Katerin Julio- Community Program Coordinator
Born and raised in Rincón del Mar, Kate is a local leader with an exemplary trajectory. A student of Ethnoeducation at UNAD and a community guide for international cooperation projects (United Nations, USAID, Fundación Mi Sangre, Corporación María Mulata), she has dedicated her life to supporting development processes in her territory.
Convinced that education is a powerful tool for transforming communities, Kate works every day to strengthen learning opportunities and leadership pathways that allow Rincón del Mar to move toward a more sustainable future.
Erika Murillo - Communications y Trainning
One of the young professionals of Rincón del Mar, Erika represents a new generation committed to its territory. A Social Worker by training, she found in her own community the opportunity to live, work, and grow professionally while contributing to the sustainable development of her people.
Her passion for communication and knowledge-sharing has strengthened two key pillars of the Foundation: our external presence through storytelling and impact communication, and our internal capacity, leading workshops and educational processes for the Foundation’s beneficiaries.
Elkin Murillo - Cine Playero Lead
Passionate about photography and film from an early age, Elkin found behind the camera his way of observing and telling the world. He is the first graduate and scholarship recipient of the TitaNext program and holds a degree in Digital Audiovisual Production from SENA Medellín, where he developed his creative vision and technical skills.
Today he is a regional influencer and founder of the community communication collective Seguimos Caminando la Calle. He also serves as Youth Council Member of San Onofre and leads the Foundation’s Cine Playero program, using cinema and audiovisual storytelling as tools for expression and collective participation within the community.
Dania Bianuni- Co-Founder, Strategy and Development
Co-founder of Dos Aguas Lodge, Dania brings her experience in sustainable tourism, experience design, and innovation, together with a deep knowledge of the territory.
Her vision of regenerative and community-based tourism gave rise to the model that now drives Fundación Dos Aguas: an approach that connects environmental sustainability, social impact, and local economic development. From the strategic direction, she supports the consolidation of partnerships, institutional growth, and the design of initiatives that connect territorial development with real opportunities for its people.
